Close your eyes for a few seconds.

When you open them, it can be hard for your eyes to adjust to what’s in front of you. But everything is there once your eyes get used to the light once again. 

God is the same way. We can’t physically see God, but we know He’s present because of the amazing things He does for us every day. 

Think of the beautiful smile that someone gives you. The beautiful white snow that falls in the winter that makes everything look so wonderful. The stunning sunsets we have in Saskatchewan; the awesome people standing around you at school - all these things of beauty are the works of our Creator God. 

So, today we pray together by saying:

Thank you for our healthy bodies, Lord Jesus.
Thank you for our eyes to see the beauty all around us.
Thank you for our ears so we can hear the laughter of our friends and families.
Thank you for our sense of smell and taste so we can really enjoy our food!
Thank you, God, for the wonderful feeling we get when we embrace our friends and family. 

Help us to see you, Lord God, in all the beauty around us. May we always make time to give you thanks for all Your goodness.
